This is just a infrared aerial
photo of the San Diego Bay area in California. This particular website did not
give the purpose of this photo in particular, but there are many uses for
infrared photos. It was first developed by the military in order to detect
camouflage in areas of towns or fields. The agricultural community such as
farmers uses this technology because of its ability to tell if vegetation is
dead or healthy.
