A continuously variable proportional circle map displays data in
circles. The circles size is indicated by how large or small the data is that
is being measured. The circles are placed in the area that is being represented
in the data. The continuously
variable proportional map is very similar to the range graded proportional map
except for the data is only represented by the size of the circle, there are no
numbers given. This map shows the number of people killed in road accidents in
Europe in 2000. Here you can see that the countries that are more popular and
urban have a larger number of accidents.
