Digital Orthophoto Quadrangle

Many maps are manipulated in order to create a better image. The DOQQ or digital orthophoto quadrangle uses aerial photos or satellite images that have been corrected so that their pixels are aligned with longitude and latitude lines. The area in this image is of a region in North Carolina that was shot in 1998.
